♫♫ A note about the band from Mojo & Jody ♫♫
This band has been our brain child for about three years now. We went through a little reconstruction recently but now we're back on track. I want to thank Nancy (Jody's wife and my good friend) for being patient with us and supporting our dream of starting a rock band from scratch. Putting together a decent PA system has been difficult in these trying economic times put we've managed to piece together a good sounding system.
We've been through a few bass players, a few guitarists, and a few singers along the way. Martin recently joined us as our lead guitarist along with Phil on the bass. With the addition of Jon ( an extremely talented young man ) as our lead vocalist we now have an awesome band. I hope we'll be out playing real soon.
♫♫How we got our name♫♫
Not long ago someone had asked me if we were a "garage band" and after giving it a moment of thought, my sense of humor kicked in and I explained "well, actually we practice Over The Garage" When I told the guys about this we all had a great laugh then someone said "hmmmm, Over the Garage.....OTG....I kinda like it". We laughed some more and the decision was made. The OTG Band became our new name.
We are really excited about our potential. There's a lot of talent in this band even if I do say so myself. We're getting better every practice! With the latest incarnation of the OTG Band it's now time to get busy! Rock on!
